The Land Rover LR4 was introduced to the public in 2009/2010. It was discontinued in 2016. - 2013: The LR4 remained a powerhouse with impressive performances both off-trail and on the urban streets. The Terrain Response System and Hill Descent Control complemented the LR4’s off-road capabilities.
- 2014: This year saw the discontinuation of the V8 engine. It was replaced with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. More technological advances also beefed up the standard features.
